We were silent for last 2 months, because we were working our socks off to organise few new tours to Ukraine in 2017!

Lizhnyk weaving tour
17th -24th of May 2017
-Learn ancient tradition of Lizhnyk Weaving.
-Make your own Carpathian wool blanket to take home.
-Stay with local families in remote Carpathian village
-Immerse yourself into hutsul culture with experienced local guides.
Day1. Wednesday. Meeting in Ivano-Frankivsk. City tour. Visiting museum of Hutsul culture in Kosiv. Arriving to the village of Yavoriv – centre of Lizhnyk weaving. Staying with local families of weavers.
Day2. Thursday. Visit to local school of crafts. Talk about history of Lizhnyk weaving in Carpathian Mountains. Weaving workshop.
Day 3. Friday. Weaving workshop with local weavers. Visit to recreation project Berezivska hata.
Day 4. Saturday. Visit to local craft market, where you can meet local producers. Weaving workshop.
Day 5. Sunday. Visit to the oldest Hutsul church, visit to Kosmach village, pysanky( egg decorating) workshop, dinner with music and dance.
Day 6. Monday. Last weaving workshop( finishing of lizhnyks) lunch, free afternoon. Goodbye party with hosts.
Day 7. Going to Lviv. Welcoming dinner in Lviv. Opera.
Day 8. City tour in Lviv. Lunch. End of tour.
