Pysanky Ukrainian egg decorating workshop for beginners, run by artist Helena Orlowski and Nataliya Cummings. Learn how to make a traditional wax-resist Ukrainian Easter Egg. An age old tradition of egg decoration in celebration of Spring, and after the arrival of Christianity, Ukrainians now make this exquisite egg art in celebration of Easter and Spring. 3 hour long workshop run by Helena Orlowski in the beautiful setting of the 'little house' at The Workhouse Gallery. The workshop includes a gentle introduction to the Ukrainian Pysanky tradition, instructions to make a simply decorated egg,  materials, and traditional Ukrainian Herbal tea .
